Kihnu Cultural Space recently hosted its 8th Knitting Festival, with this year’s main focus on entrelac knitting—a beautiful and intricate technique that brought together approximately 30 passionate participants, eager to learn the technique and put their fingers to work.🧶
One of the festival participants shared her lovely reflections from the three day festival: everything from learning the art of Kihnu gloves, to touring local farms and cultural houses, relaxing in smoke saunas, and even witnessing a rare white rainbow by the lighthouse. 🌈
It was a weekend full of tradition, creativity, and connection—topped off with cake, music, and laughter.
We’re excited to share her experience with you, and we hope it inspires you to join us at the next Kihnu Knitting Festival! 🥰
Make sure to look at her page for more memories of this years knitting festival!
